phew, WVU played a tough game at Marshall until the end. I guess considering Michigan last week, I should be happy and I am. I'm glad WVU had some adversity in a hostile environment, blowing every team out will not help against tougher opponents. That was Marshall's Super Bowl and they played a great first half!

I hope you are checking this out during the game and I hope you are sneaking a pint into the game in your pants. Northwestern had a superb game winning drive to come back from four down and they ended the game with a safety. Looks like you and the wifey are gonna be having some victory lovin tonite. Go to the swamp or the salty dog after the game, drink til you are dizzy then try to make Gabe a sister so she can help him get laid in high school.

Oklahoma looked solid. Bama can sure run the ball. It really is a shame that Prothro won't ever play again as he would have helped their anemic passing game. That 85 yd td pass by Oregon was sweet and they get 2. O/U on how long til Carr gets fired: 2 more games. Just found out the place where they hold the Chicago branch of UF's alumni association's gameday viewing party is holding a David Allen Coe show in two weeks. Sweet if I'm lucky it will be like the rotator back in hogtown.

Michigan is getting punked. Two statue of liberty plays, dropping bombs, and I think Oregon hasn't punted yet. I was looking at the stats and they don't look terrible yet Michigan is getting stomped. I hope Oregon keeps the pressure on in the second half. the way this game is going Carr is gone by tomorrow morning.

Now off to watch UF and can't wait to get back home to watch USF/Aub.

I am missing the Michigan ass-beating as I decided to sit and read this week's SI as my son watches "Cars"...shit, off I go to the other TV in the house!

Side note: "Phew!" is all I can say about tOSU against Akron...couldn't watch of course since Time Warner still sucks ass and won't sign with the Big 10 Network. At least Akron's only score was a safety and Beanie Wells ended up with 100+ yards today.
Their O needs to step it up a few notches next week in WA!

i was watching the ass whipping but my daughter has taken over the TV. Just as well it was like watching a train wreck. Very disturbing.

Now it's on to FSU losing to a high school team. Go UAB!

dan warned you about the washington huskies and jake locker after last weeks thumping of syracuse (granted, the sorriest big east team after week one), but stepping up at home against boise state this week - could it lead to a top 25 ranking monday? suddenly ohio state next week doesn't look so much like a guaranteed "L"...

So Dan,you still think Va Tech can run the table?

They need to go to a different QB as soon as possible. If they play him all year they're toast. With Miami, and FSU down....it looks like in December, Georgia Tech will be facing BC at Jacksonville.....(top two teams in ACC play,IMHO.)

24-0 at half. Should be interesting from here out...

Jimmy Clausen is going to be ok and so is Notre Dame. They aren't as bad as we thought they were.

Dan, do you rank South Carolina after the Goergia upset?

Has anyone seen the Georgia Tech game? Are these guys for real? Two huge blowouts in two games. We put the first one on Notre Dame being bad, but maybe Georgia Tech do has such a potent offense, even with Calvin Johnson gone.

Hot damn that USF game was fucking amazing. If they had a kicker who was worth a damn the game would have never gone to OT. They have a great defense and Grothe is a badass qb. Gotta root for the hometown college.

Florida played half of the game like the best team in the country and then they played about as bad as Michigan for a half. the offense looks unstoppable so long as they can hold on to the ball.

Funny how the Ole Ball coach seems to always ruin Georgia's season to make up for never beating them in college.
