Last year's group topped 1,000 participants, third-highest of any group (not the 10,000 of 2006, but not bad) and my then-9-month-old son came in 10th overall. You all have a lot to show for yourselves this year.
(But, ack: Without Florida as a lock to win the title – hell, looking like they won't even make the field of 65 this year – how will anyone rack up the points that come from picking a champ?)

$145 million for Javon Walker, Tommy Kelly and Gibril Wilson. Yikes. Someone needs to tell the Raiders that the Daniel Snyder crazy spending plan doesn't work in the NFL.
Kinda funny that the Celtics biggest concern to start the season was the lack of depth on the bench and now the Celtics biggest concern is the bench might be too deep. Hopefully Doc will use that to his advantage and start easing up on the minutes played by KG, Pierce and Allen between now and the playoffs.
