07/20 Quickie: Final Wake-Up Call

I break a huge scoop in today's SN column: Today will be my final column for SportingNews.com.

It has been a fun run with the Wake-Up Call, and I sincerely thank the folks at Sporting News for giving me a home for the last 2+ years and 600+ columns.

Next up: TBA.

Dan,
Good luck on your next endeavor! I will be following you there. I am sure you will be moving to Denver to write a book on Tebow's first season with Denver. Titled "Let's all share the ball" or whatever is the opposite of Keyshawn Johnson's book.

Dan... I will follow you and stellar writing style. Sounds creepy, I know, but... you get "it".

Best wishes on your future endeavors... we will be watching.

Peace...

Best wishes, Dan - I look forward to following you on the blog and Twitter. I hope that you find a great opportunity (or that you already have) and that it hopefully includes the Daily Quickie- / WUC-style format that we've all come to know and love

Best,

-Lee

Dan, best wishes for the future... but please don't stop posting daily! Since your page 2 days, you have always been my first and favorite sports stop of the day.

Thanks for all the great work at SN, Dan. I'll miss reading your column every morning. (I'll still read it, wherever it may be.)

As much as the Tebow love-fest is insufferable, I still have been reading all versions of the Quickie for years... from ESPN, to here, to TSB, and back.

Best of luck as you continue your career, Dan!
