CFB Season Preview: Heismania!

Three years ago, I picked Reggie Bush as my Heisman winner, because he was the best player in the country. He finished as runner-up to his teammate Matt Leinart, then won the award the following season.

Last season, I picked Darren McFadden as my Heisman winner, because he was the best player in the country. He finished as runner-up to Troy Smith. McFadden will win the award this season, then become the best NFL running back East of LaDainian Tomlinson.

Here's my preseason Heisman ranking:

1. Darren McFadden, RB, Arkansas
2. Colt Brennan, QB, Hawaii
3. Pat White, QB, West Virginia
4. Brian Brohm, QB, Louisville
5. Tim Tebow, QB, Florida

The next tier:
6. DeSean Jackson, WR, Cal
7. John David Booty, QB, USC
8. Ray Rice, RB, Rutgers
9. Steve Slaton, RB, West Virginia
10. Andre Woodson, QB, Kentucky

Who's your pick as the best player in college football? And who is the player who isn't on that radar... but should be?

Good move Dan getting rid of all the sophomoric comments. It is pretty sad that people have to resort to dogging on your wife whose only error I guess is being an ACR and therefore being the main reason for you liking the gators. I know most of us regular readers come here either to be outraged by your silly statements or simply because we like to engage in a discourse on sports but the few who only come to talk shit and disparage your wife are basically assholes. I wish there was a way you could stop the bs without making us have to wait for you to review our comments.

That being said I think it is pretty retarded to think of Tim Tebow as a Heisman contender. Hell he might be good but he isn't a Percy Harvin who is electrifying. I do agree with your opinion that Mcfadden will win this year. That man is unbelievably talented and if the losses on the hogs line can be filled he should able to replicate last years numbers and would in turn make him the favorite in my eyes. It is a shame that Tyrone Prothro got hurt in that Gator game a few years back as he would have been my choice this year because that man single handedly destroyed the gators.

How were my PJ Hill comments worth deleting?

I still think you're retarded for not mentioning him.

I come for the ridiculous statements too. And the blatant inaccuracies.

You go by the name "The Heroin Sheik". That's so much classier.

Pot & kettle.

PJ Hill could easily break 2,000 yards for the Big Ten Champion. If he does this (Eddie George never did) doesn't he have to at least crack the top 3?

Thank you, bd.

No Eric Ainge? Far superior to Tebow at this stage in the game.
