As a Panthers fan, I am actually worried about the Ravens more with Boller as QB than with McNair, who has left the game with a concussion... I guess we'll see how this turns out...

McNair got hurt, what a surprise. Of course, he's killing the team with his terrible offense so they'll probably be better off.

Double goalposts for Seattle!

Time for another TD by Holt!

I don't think the Panthers have anything to worry about. That was one sweet 7 1/2+ minute drive, shame it ended in a FG (why not do the play action fake on 3rd down?).

so much for mcnair for mvp, boller steps in and throws 3 TD passes.

Gradkowski looks for real and the bucs defense might actually old a lead for once. Finally something to smile about.

Great finishes to the early games... too bad Tory Holt killed my fantasy team!

The Saints are for real. New Orleans is fun to watch.

Big Ben finally has his first TD.

If Larry Johnson truly deserves a penalty for bringing down Troy Palamumantamaulu by his long ass hair, then I expect every coach in the league to encourage everyone on their team to start growing Rapunzel hair immediately.

Once everyone has hair down to their knees, it will impossible to tackle anyone from behind without drawing a 15-yard penalty.

Get a hair cut Troy or accept getting tackled that way.

It wasn't taking Troy down by the hair that was the penalty. If you watch the video again LJ takes him down by the hair and then holds onto it and pulls it as he is getting to his feet after the tackle. At least that is what I've been lead to believe - it's the pull after tackle that caused the flag.

That "tackle" by Johnson on Polamalu was just wrong..........

i agree with 3rdstring. I don't think the takedown caused the flag, I think pulling on it while he stood up was the problem, and possibly the shit talking that ensued. Stay classy LJ, you are down 31-0 and your team just got picked in the RZ, but you called him a bitch for having long hair, so you're the real winner.

NFL Comp committee should ban hair that comes past the helmets. It looks like every team now has at least one Predator playing for them, and it is stupid, and apparently unsafe.

If TO gets fined for having a sharpie, then all the NFL Fabio's need to find their way to SuperCuts.

While he didn't get the penalty for tackling by the hair, I can't see how what he did after would be a penalty...his hand was tangled in the hair, what else could he do?

Also, what was the deal on the roughing the passer penalty on a sack in the Cinci game?

Cincinnati's upcoming schedule:
Carolina, Atlanta, at Baltimore, San Diego, at New Orleans. 3-7 here they come, let's get this train-wreck rolling...

Why did Bill Cowher need to challenge a touchdown call for Davenport when he's already up 31-7 in the fourth?

Well smack when you are 2-3 you gotta do all you can to impress the voters and get yourself back in the BCS picture. Oh wait the NFL has an actual playoff system. Never mind...
