Jim Mora is the coach of the Falcons. He is not a junior. He shares the same first name as his father, but is not a junior.
he'll still get booed
Woohoo! Dan didn't jinx the Packers!
BTW, another NBA Brawl. In the Garden! Stern is going to dismantle both Denver and New York.
SportsCenter has officially gone down the toilet. In the first 35+ minutes of the highlights show at 11, they showed exactly THREE highlights: the Nuggets-Knicks brawl (which wasn't really highlights of the game itself, just the brawl), the Cowboys-Falcons game (and of course everyone's reactions to it), and Texas Tech-Arkansas (Bob Knight's 800zillionth win). And of course lots of commercials. Does anyone else actually want to see game highlights, or are people really more interested in what Parcells/Mora/TO/etc have to say after a regular season game?
FSN's Final Score has the right idea (just showing highlights), but that show is unwatchable due to three quarters of the screen being taken up by various tickers. Sigh...
Good lord tomorrow I have to put up with my fiancee who knows little about football rooting blindly for the bears as they play the bucs. She loves to crack on the bucs because we can't win in cold weather because we are as she says a bunch of pussies. If the bucs were to pull off the upset where would it rank in the pantheon of great upsets?
Good picks. I actually agree with all but one, I think the Vikes will beat the Jets. Not that I care since Da Bears are 1 win away from getting home-field throughout the playoffs.
And I cannot wait till we hear Shanoff's synopsis of the Madison Square Garden brawl.
There was no booing at the GA Dome. There was no opportunity to boo Jim. His name wasn't announced... There were some choice signs though.

Holy Crap!
Sunday NFL Countdown on tWWL... And Michael Irvin didn't back up Terrell Owens' admitte spitting on DeAngelo Hall.
I was fully expecting some type of diatribe about "the heat of the game" and such...
Rex Grossman is the most confusing human being on the planet.
"Rex Grossman is the most confusing human being on the planet."
So you're saying he's almost as confusing as a woman?
Tennessee 24, Jacksonville 10 in the 4th Quarter. Ladies and Gentlemen, I present next year's trendy Super Bowl pick and this year's most confusing team.
WOW, how often do you see this?
1-10-DET 24 (1:49) J.Kitna pass intended for J.Fletcher INTERCEPTED by C.Woodson at DET 42. C.Woodson to DET 42 for no gain (J.Kitna). PENALTY on DET-J.Kitna, Face Mask (15 Yards), 15 yards, enforced at DET 27.
How pissed is the Jaguar defense right now? Seriously--2 INT returns and a fumble return for TDs. I'm sure someone at ESPN will find a way to give VY credit for that.
I'm in the library "studying" for exams, so I'm not seeing any of this on TV. What the fuck is Tim Rattay doing throwing 50-yard TD passes?
How bout them bucs. We are gonna lose but damn this game is fun to watch.
