Yes We Can. Yes He Can. Yes He Did.

Yes We Can. Yes He Can.

Yes He Did.

This is the most stirring national moment of my lifetime -- probably of many people's lifetimes.

From the Declaration of Independence to the Emancipation Proclamation to tonight. Defining moments in American history, running along a straight line of history.

What a glorious event. What a worthy man. I have never been more proud to be an American.

Hope is real.

I think that Keith Olbermann said it very well tonight--he compared tonight with the first moon landing in terms of historical significance. I feel privileged to have witnessed both, and I am so happy that our country will have such an amazing person as our next President!

Shanny, I disagree with pretty much everything you ever write about sports but with this post I agree 100%

I've honestly never felt like this before in my life.

Exceedingly proud. Incredibly hopeful. Truly excited about our country.

Way to go President Obama!

I hope he keeps his promises Dan. We've seen empty promises before and it's hurt our nation. It's all cyclical so he most likely will have only 4 years to do the job. Unfortunately, I don't think he will keep true to what he wants to "change." It's going to be a long 4 years.

Change - All you will have left in your paycheck after the Obama-Pelosi-Reid socialists get a hold of it.

I wish our President good luck and much success - we'll be paying for it in the long run.
