He's talking about this:

Jimmy Johnson must have had a quiz scheduled today.

The report said the threat was supposedly 7 dirty bombs on the same day...

No way that could happen. Aside from the near-impossible logistics of having 7 dirty bombs, there's no way an actual would-be terrorist would be so open about the details.

Sounds to me like it's just some really big asshole trying to cause a fuss over something that should not be bluffed about.

I think if it were serious, the FBI, Homeland Security, Big Brother, et al wouldn't be openly talking about it without knowing more.

Just sounds like a really, really, really stupid prank to me.

And if for nothing else, haven't the Raiders and their fans suffered enough anyway?

Too bad Jack Bauer is in a chinese Prison, he could stop this.

They never name the websites where threats like these are made.

I'd like to seem some high school computer dweeb hack these sites and shut them down.

You're a terrorist going to get the latest al-Qaida news, and instead you get a re-direct to porn. How about that?

I'm very skeptical, as the threat was posted at that one stupid website. You know - www.kylebollerwillbethe#1ratedqb.com

Superman will save us...oh wait, he's at an early Haloween party dressed as Jack Bauer.

P.S. I'm sure there are thousands of threats like this every day. I'm also 100% positive that all the stadiums will be at capacity this weekend.

7 nfl stadiums, dirty bombs, this weekend

true or not, this is flat out creepy.

glad i'll be watching from home this weekend, just like every other weekend, with picture-in-picture in full effect and fantasy updates on the computer.

God I'm such a sports geek...

There's no way that all 7 would go off at the same time because they all have different start times. The later games would have more stringent security, if something were to happen.

Guy in the Corner,

You woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.

I wake up to see you yelling at Dan for not writing back to your emails and returning your calls. CALM DOWN!!!!!! Don't have a baby

Then you're jumping on me for calling Coach K (the 12th best basketball coach ever...so it's a compliment) Jewish

Now you're complaining that this news is on ESPN. Chill...Easy tiger...Simmer down

Chill the hell out. TELL HIM, DAN

I figure it is probably a whole bunch of worry over nothing. ON 9-11 they shut down disney because they thought it might be a target or something to which i said why would they blow up disney? After they destroy the western world they are going to disneyworld. Sometimes I wonder if the government makes up shit so that when they supposedly thwart an attack it makes the current administration look better. G. Dubya should just go back to fucking up the rangers.

Why did you censor yourself on a blog?

Well said, heroin sheik.

My question is, after reviewing the story, Why Cleveland and Oakland? I mean, what conceivable purpose...?

And haven't those cities suffered enough this year?

i have a question

when did i yell at dan for not answering an email? i just asked if he read them because he didn't respond to the one I sent because i didn't want to send anymore if he wasn't reading them. Dan seemed to understand this, unlike you, and said that he had merely been busy and that he does read them. i also stated that i didn't mind if he didn't read them i just wanted to know if he did for future reference.

as far as coach k goes....I hate duke like everyone else and evenmoreso being a terps fan and i had never heard of him being jewish before so i questioned this, looked it up, and found no proof of this, and then i was just clarifying the thing about "half jewish"

and how did my post...
"it's front page espn right now

7 nfl stadiums, dirty bombs, this weekend "...
in any way imply that i was (your words) "complaining that this news is on ESPN"?

this confuses me

i never freak out or get angry and am very calm almost all the time in fact the last thing that made me truly angry in sports when when that bastard jeffrey mayer took the ball away from tony tarasco

so perhaps it tis you who should calm down about me calming down if that makes sense

I saw this on Sportscenter last night.. was amazed that it got about 30 seconds coverage and was almost just mentioned in passing. Credible or not, I think the FBI / Homeland Security has an obligation to the public to give out information. If something were to happen, think of the shitstorm the government would be in if there had been no warning after they had picked up this information. Personally I think it is a huge joke by someone in really poor taste, and I think he will spend some time in an unknown jail when they track him down.

So now that this has proven to be a hoax (those wacky Milwaukee folks...God I miss them, I do), is that "Holy $hit" downgraded to a "WTF"?
