Dan, how far a walk from Grand Central is that?
Walk? A ton. You need to hop the 4/5/6 all the way downtown to the Lower East Side. The closest subway stop is the F at Delancey.
I really wish that damn horse had just died.
Cruel..i know..but true.
Home Slice,
Off subject, can we get some love for Calvin Johnson's heisman campaign? The guy is rediculous and non of the other players exept for Wolfe have really seperated themselves from the pack.
Crabdogg
Ehh. Sounds really cool, but, um - Mets are on at 4 and the Yanks are on at 8 ...
Damn, that looks like two and a half miles....guess I'd better learn the subway in NYC.
Brian, your main obstacle isn't the subway. It's navigating the streets below Houston.
It's going to be fancy dress by the way. Wear something fancy! Non nudity, folks!
Fancy dress? Hmmm....What's the occasion? What are you wearing?
brian in oxford,
If you want I can pick you up at Grand Central. Are you okay with riding on the back of my bike? I'll be dressed as Ozzie Guillen...goatee and all
Shanoff..
I would make the trip to NYC just for that sight.
Still, if you have one around New Year's...I'm visiting from Virginia.
Define "Fancy Dress"
Since the fanciest thing I own is non ripped jeans. Would I have to go shopping for this little shindig?
Yes, I graduated from college three and a half years ago. So what?
Damnit fake Dan Shanoff - stop giving us bogus information. I almost went out and bought a real pair of pants and a tie.
Almost.
Big problem with the whole playoffs thing going on. I can't make it all the way there from Shea after the game, which will probably have lots of pitcher changes (even with Grady Little managing) and end well after 7, and I'm sure you got a lot of guys with a date in the Bronx at the same time.
Even if I could run as fast as Jose Reyes, I still don't think I could make it there from Shea in time. Maybe next month. Have fun, go Mets!
